Owner Maria Charissa Josef and her husband acquired property in 2020. Initially intended to be a residential unit, the couple decided to convert it into a restaurant. The rest is the beginning of personal and local food history.
From the previously neighboring ancestral house, Josef sourced some pieces alongside paintings and other art works to curate a unique, maaliwalas dining experience. This experience, of course, is completed by food: Signature beef kaldereta which is an heirloom recipe from her husband’s side of the family, halo-halo, and lumpia.
