Organized by the Center of International Trade Expositions and Missions (CITEM), Taglay Pinoy aims to support Philippine micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) by producing relevant and high-quality content and promoting them on digital platforms.
While more and more businesses are moving online, creating high-quality digital content remains a challenge for many micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs). This is mainly because content creation services are usually expensive or are not a top priority for these businesses.
As the export promotion arm of the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), the Center for International Trade Expositions and Missions (CITEM) is committed to empowering MSMEs by providing them with comprehensive assistance and resources through the Taglay Pinoy Program. This program is designed to help MSMEs in their digital transformation by offering professionally produced digital assets, including product photos, descriptions, articles, and company profiles, which will be featured on the promotional platforms of CITEM, including Manila FAME, IFEX Philippines, and CREATEPhilippines.
Through Taglay Pinoy, CITEM aims to enhance the global competitiveness of MSMEs and improve the marketability of Filipino products and services in a technology-driven market.
The Taglay Pinoy Program is in line with the development and promotion of the Philippine Creative Industries and is backed by creative industry champion, Congressman Christopher De Venecia, along with 22 congressional districts and provinces.
