Emerging from an immersion in the vibrance and vast potential for inclusive and local economic growth, former One Town One Product (OTOP) coordinator Renilda Kuizon decided to venture into the exciting ecosystem of Philippine MSMEs as an entrepreneur herself.
Starting out with handicrafts like simple dining ware, Lolo Bobby–an homage to her grandfather and a confluence of her children’s names–has since grown into a brand of best-selling fashion accessories, table runners, and placemats. Kuizon has also made her mark in the spaces of home décor and accessories with napkin rings, utensils, and earrings.
Adding to the locally powered portfolio are sustainability bonafides: All of Lolo Bobby’s crowd-favorite products are made from coconut shells and carabao horns.
