Ash Kitchen Trading and Marketing

Parang, Marikina City, Metro Manila 1800

As is the case with Pinoy entrepreneurs, it takes a village and some friction to make magic. Founder Gina Dela Cruz’s mild psoriasis and search for a hobby led her to soaps, making bars friendly to her condition from ash and in her home kitchen in Marikina. Spotting a business opportunity alongside her penchant for making good soaps, she sought the mentorship of large corporations to learn about the ins and outs of business through the Department of Trade and Industry’s (DTI) KAPATID Mentor ME program, as well as developmental support of the Department of Science and Technology (DOST) through the agency’s SETUP program to help her adapt to technological innovations in the nascent stage of her business.

All these learnings were then distilled into sustainable products–all-natural and free from harmful chemicals–down to the eco-friendly, zero-waste packaging, which counts among its bestsellers its serum with the best-for-skin ingredient niacinamide and aromatherapy oils, as well as healing balms.
